Congratulations go to Jamie Eastman from Blue Mountain High School in Newbury in Orange County. Jamie was selected to be the National Representative for Vermont Teen Leadership Safety Program/SADD. Jamie was also selected to represent Vermont at the National SADD Conference SADD SPEAKS a youth advocate program for highway safety. Jamie assists the Orange County Sheriff's Department with training, as well as being a volunteer on the Wells River Fire Department. Orange County Sheriff's Department partners with youth to promote safe decision making.

OCSD is collecting winter clothing & blankets to distribute to anyone in need. People with donations of coats, jackets, sweaters, pants, gloves, hats, boots, blankets etc. can drop them off at the Sheriff's Dept. 24/7. (Items do not have to be new or in perfect condition, but please nothing badly stained or extremely worn) People in need of items can stop by the Sheriff's Dept.
